This is my first time visiting this place and it's tucked a block or two behind the west covina mall. I find the business name funny because it literally translate to "Hit Dog Dinner". They have their weekly special and I end up getting a Thursday Fried chicken rice meal. The meal also come with a green tea. I was surprised that it also comes with a side of garlic seaweed, egg & tomatoes, and steam bak choi. The waiter was nice and gave an extra pan fried egg. My wife got the mince noodles entree which didn't come with a drink. Although it looked flavorful it's really not. Everything tasted great and I love traditional Taiwanese food. Flavor is not too strong and easy on the palate. To me Taiwanese food is similar to Korean food with lots of sides (banchan). They have assortment of side dishes snack like oyster omelete pig ears, simmer tofu. There's also crispy snack that are mostly fried such as sweet potatoes fries, fried squid, fried dumplings and many more. Their drinks and soup selection isn't small too. They also sell frozen version of some dishes so you can make them at home. That's awesome. My next visit I will definitely try their snacks, drinks, and dessert.

As a resident of Glendora, finding authentic Taiwanese food has always been a challenge. Typically, a trip to Arcadia is necessary to satisfy my cravings. However, Dago has changed that. Conveniently located near the mall with ample parking, this restaurant is a gem. The interior is simple yet spacious, easily accommodating large parties. The food was incredible. I tried the spicy beef noodle soup, Taiwanese wonton noodles, spicy pig ear, and the renowned Taiwanese sausage with rice. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The customer service was excellent. You can place your order via QR code or the traditional way by calling a server to your table. My dad, who is a connoisseur of Taiwanese cuisine, was particularly impressed. He even said it surpasses Sinbala, a well-known Taiwanese restaurant in Arcadia. Dago has definitely become our go-to spot for authentic Taiwanese food.

I was surprised how good the food is here since Twainese food is different from Canto food. Been here numerous times as well doing pick up orders. The items I really like would be the black pepper deep fried pork chop which you can get w/ rice or noodle, deep fried tofu, the noodles in shallot oil, popcorn chicken etc. Their soup noodles are tasty too. Also the lychee slush is delightful on a hot day as well as the lychee black tea. They have one of the better tasting popcorn chicken IMO, nicely seasoned & flavorful & the basil adds a great taste to it. Would definitely recommend this place if you want delicious tasting food.

Very interesting restaurant. Not that many Taiwanese restaurants around around Covina so a surprise to see one. The food is unique but their shaved ice was the best
